As Crisis Manager for a $400 million construction management company for the casino, municipal building, university housing and medical sectors, Buccino nailed the problem and laid the foundation for success. Our client was facing a severe cash-flow drain as it transitioned from a “cost-plus” to a “hard-bid” contract environment. After analyzing all construction in progress, we projected profit or loss on jobs in-house and established strategies to deal with major expected losses. Buccino completely reorganized the estimating department and set new standards to ensure future profitability on all quotes. Acting as CFO, we managed all creditor and banking issues and successfully transformed business to a “hard-bid” environment, satisfying banking and surety concerns.
